S'Appenin' Dude?

Well I just wanted to make another post about what's happening. What is happening? Well I've discovered I need to charge that deposit on a shoot session. Otherwise I get silly girls saying they're tired or bored or just have to go shopping or something 45 minutes into a shoot where you're only just getting started and haven't yet got a whole lot. So start doing it.

Portrait and other shoots coming in East Grinstead

I have a meeting with two MUA students on Monday at 2:00pm in ARTS House near Sharpthorne, Sussex to discuss possibilities of collaboration. Then a meeting with an actress in East Grinstead at 4:30pm to plan a shot list. Lee Gellie should also be back in town then so I will go over the shot list for Shilpa with him also on Monday.

Need to call Vicky about shooting her twins.

Meet Barbara L on Wednesday at 11:00am at Java and Jazz in Forest Row to plan a shot list. Meet with the Jive Aces also some time next week to plan a shot list and maybe even do a shoot.

Meet with Pupak and other photographers on Thursday evening in Forest Row to plan the portraits and product shots of the Ashdown Artists group.

This is a bunch of self portraits recently made. They aren't really portraits but shots where I was testing a lighting setup or wanted to create a particular mode and needed a model. With no one else being around I chose the best model I could find.

This is better than I thought

This was originally dashed off as part of my 365 project. It was late and I had yet to make a picture. Tomas was available so I got him dressed up like this and then just played around for a bit with the lighting. There is more detail about the pic at my imageconjurer.com website.

Anyway I have lately come to realise that this pic was a turning point for me. It pretty much nails a particular style that I want to work with for a bit.
